Dans ce beau cantique, il nous rappelait que notre maison commune est aussi comme une sœur, avec laquelle nous partageons l’existence, et comme une mère, belle, qui nous accueille à bras ouverts : « Loué sois-tu, mon Seigneur, pour sœur notre mère la terre, qui nous soutient et nous gouverne, et produit divers fruits avec les fleurs colorées et l’herbe (Laudato Si' Nº 1)   .... voir la prière ici:

desde la AFJM Argentina-Uruguay Claudia Machado rjm Los invitamos a que, desde nuestra espiritualidad, nos animemos a pedir perdón a nuestra madre Tierra… Compartimos un videito simple, unas pistas para rezar y una canción: Para rezar juntos: En mi vida cotidiana ¿qué recursos materiales y humanos, necesito tomar conciencia para reciclar, cambiar…? Hacemos una pequeña lista. En mi vida de todos los días, ¿qué espacios de nuestro planeta tierra me son indiferentes: los ríos, las montañas, los bosques, los mares…? ¿soy consciente de la contaminación, los incendios, las talas de los árboles…? En mis vínculos ¿cuáles son las palabras, gestos que no construyen a sentirnos en “casa” tanto con mi familia, mis amigos, mi trabajo? Darme cuenta ya es desear cambiar o por lo menos intentarlo, pedimos esta gracia al Dios bueno. Quizás, si nos ayuda, podemos hacer un cartelito que diga: “Hoy quiero cuidar ……..” (aquello que surja de la oración). Para cantar y rezar:

St.  Raphael Catholic Church is an out station of St Denis, it is a small Christian community, located at the water- side area of Bariga Lagos. There are usually two masses on Sundays. The first mass is by 7.00am which is said in English. It is mainly attended by those who understand English. While the second mass is for the local indigenes, and it is celebrated in the local dialect, Egbun and sometimes the celebrating priest relies on the help of a translator. Apart from the two masses on Sunday, Other liturgical activities take place at the main parish church in St Denis. We the Rjm collaborate in this mission also. A sister goes there every Sunday and other special days to attend mass and assist the priest in communion distribution and this permit us to interact with the people. La FJM ha voluto leggere e studiare l’Enciclica del Papa Francesco “Laudato si”, con l’aiuto del Preside della nostra scuola, che l’aveva precedentemente approfondita per farne una presentazione ai docenti e farne il Tema centrale della scuola di Via Flaminia a Roma. I primi incontri hanno avuto come obiettivo soprattutto quello di precisare le fonti ispiratrici dell’Enciclica stessa: l’Assemblea di Aparecida, i testi di parecchie conferenze episcopali, gli scritti derivanti da un respiro ecumenico (il patriarca Bartolomeo; il filosofo protestante P. Ricoeur e i testi di Leonard Boff). E’ evidente che abbiamo fatto riferimento alla situazione attuale in cui vive il pianeta Terra (inquinamento, questione dell’acqua, debito ecologico) e abbiamo analizzato alcuni termini chiave come: casa comune, terra, tecnoscienza e tecnocrazia, prendersi cura, ecologia integrale. “Uno stile di vita impegnato nella giustizia, pace e salvaguardia del Creato” (Terza Priorità del  Capitolo Generale JM):     Come ogni anno a settembre le nostre scuole si preparano ad accogliere i ragazzi seguendo percorsi formativi che ci provengono dagli avvenimenti intorno a noi e dalle suggestioni educative della nostra pedagogia di Congregazione. Le religiose e i docenti che collaborano all’opera scolastica di Gesù-Maria di Roma hanno affrontato il tema della custodia del Creato e del rapporto tra uomo e natura. LIVING A LIFE THAT IS COMMITTED  TO JUSTICE, PEACE AND INTEGRITY OF CREATION IN LAGOS, NIGERIA This year, we have already contacted a priest who is well vast in the Social Doctrine of the Church in Lagos to help us out with the formation on Social Doctrine of the church and he was very kind to accept our request. He is only waiting for our schedule. We hope this formation will be programmed to go on for the whole year if possible. For us again, this “entails a commitment which requires a gradual and systematic assimilation of the Social Doctrine of the Church (SDC) in order to discern God’s call in the challenges of the social reality and in the responses which need to be given thereby promoting the values of justice, peace and integrity of creation (Cf. General Objective , n. 49)”We can only offer what we have and so, if we know better or we are better informed, we will no doubt be able to offer others better services also.
