Earth day in Convent of Jesus and Mary School, New Delhi

Environmental awareness was promoted on Earth Day in a very special way in Convent of Jesus and Mary School on 22^nd April, 2016.

In addition to special assemblies, the noted theatre group of Delhi  ASMITA staged a street play on environmental pollution. This was followed by an animated interactive session, demonstrating a high degree of ecological consciousness in the students.

Students also made posters to promote / focus awareness the ecological problems. The interesting part was that these posters were made using recycled charts. 

A ‘brown bag’ campaign was initiated by the Headgirl. All the students were asked to get their food in brown bags, to promote the reduced use of plastic boxes and cling films.
