St-Michel 

 Sensibilisation des jeunes au problème de l’eau par une marche.  Lors de cette activité, ils donnent de l’argent pour faire creuser des puits en Afrique. Beaucoup d’efforts quotidiens sont faits pour leur apprendre à protéger l’environnement.

 Une vingtaine d’élèves se préparent à vivre une expérience missionnaire en République Dominicaine en 2017.  Ils reçoivent une formation avant leur départ.  Les élèves  ont déjà construit 7  maisons  pour des familles en République Dominicaine.

 Sensibilisation à la situation de violence dans le monde et invitation à poser des gestes de paix.  Sensibilisation à la faim pour contrer l’habitude de plusieurs à jeter de la nourriture.

Engagement pour l’écolage.  Grâce à la contribution des élèves, 7 jeunes du Guatemala,  d’Haïti, de Bolivie peuvent poursuivre leurs études universitaires chaque année.

Régulièrement des jeunes se rendent au Grenier, à Moisson Québec ou à la maison Mère Malette pour un service auprès des plus démunis. (Centres où les gens peuvent aller chercher de la nourriture ou prendre un repas)

Des familles reçoivent des paniers de provision grâce à la collaboration des jeunes et des professeurs de l’école.

Lutte contre l’intimidation

Nous vivons une situation où plusieurs jeunes sont victimes d’intimidation, une injustice contre la dignité de la personne. Le gouvernement demande aux écoles d’intervenir efficacement dans cette lutte.  L’école de St-Michel s’est dotée d’une stratégie pour dépister ces cas d’intimidation, d’une démarche pour aider les personnes intimidées et ceux qui intimident en s’assurant la collaboration des spécialistes de l’école et des parents.

Water protection, violence and hunger in the world

Activity:  A water march. The students raise money to help build wells in Africa.

Invitation to make gestures of peace, nonviolence. Many efforts are made to stop wasting food.

Help in centers were people come to get food or take a meal.  The students collect food to share with families during Christmas Time

Thanks to the students, seven young people of Guatemala, Haiti and Bolivia can continue studying at the university.

Twenty students are preparing  to go to Dominican Republic in 2017 where they will help to build a house. They already have made seven houses for families.

The fight against intimidation

We are experiencing a situation in which several young persons are becoming victims of intimidation.  This amounts to an injustice against the dignity of the person.  The government is asking the schools to become involved in developing effective ways to deal with this injustice.  The school at St. Michel has developed a strategy to detect these cases of intimidation and a plan of action to help both those who are intimidated and who intimidate, by obtaining the collaboration of both the school specialists and the parents.

CAMPAÑA DE SENSIBILIZACIÓN : CUIDAR EL AGUA.  UNA CAMINATA PARA APOYAR EL CUIDADO DEL AGUA. DURANTE ESTA ACTIVIDAD, LOS ALUMNOS RECOGEN DINERO PARA HACER POZOS EN ÁFRICA.

PERIÓDICAMENTE, LOS ALUMNOS VAN A COLABORAR EN CENTROS DONDE SE DA COMIDA A LA GENTE QUE NECESITAN. ES UN COMPROMISO DE SOLIDARIDAD.

GRACIAS A LOS ALUMNOS Y PROFESORES, SIETE JÓVENES DE GUATEMALA, HAITI Y BOLIVIA SIGUEN ESTUDIANDO EN LA UNIVERSIDAD.

EN LA ESCUELA SE HACE MUCHOS ESFUERZOS PARA SENSIBILIZAR A LOS ALUMNOS SOBRE EL PROBLEMA DEL HAMBRE EN EL MUNDO, SOBRE TODO EL HAMBRE DE LOS NIÑOS. SE HACE UN TRABAJO PARA QUE LOS ALUMNOS NO BOTEN COMIDA.

VEINTE (20) ALUMNOS SE PREPARAN PARA IR A REPÚBLICA DOMINICANA EN 2017 DONDE VAN A COLABORAR EN LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE CASA.  HAN HECHO SIETE CASAS HASTA AHORA. 

LUCHA CONTRA EL ACOSO

EN CANADÁ, VIVIMOS UNA SITUACIÓN MUY TRISTE, UNA INJUSTICIA CONTRA LA DIGNIDAD DE LA PERSONA. MUCHOS JÓVENES SON VÍCTIMAS. EL GOBIERNO PIDE A LAS ESCUELAS QUE HAGAN UN ESFUERZO PARA IMPEDIR ESTAS SITUACIONES. EL COLEGIO TIENE UNA ESTRATEGIA PARA DETECTAR ESTOS CASOS Y UN PLANTEAMIENTO PARA AYUDAR A LAS VÍCTIMAS CON LA COLABORACIÓN DE LOS ESPECIALISTAS Y DE LOS PADRES.

SILLERY

Jeunesse du Monde

Ce mouvement d’ouverture sur le monde engage  les jeunes à poser des gestes concrets de solidarité.  Les jeunes de Sillery font des activités pour aider l’Afrique et les enfants qui fréquentent la Maison des enfants de St-Roch.  Ils ont aussi des rencontres de sensibilisation sur les différents problèmes mondiaux.

Comité GILLES KÈGLE 

GILLES KÈGLE est un infirmier qui visite et aide plusieurs personnes du quartier St-Roch depuis plusieurs années.  Il a formé un comité de bénévoles qui l’assistent dans sa mission. Les jeunes de Sillery préparent 30 repas par semaine pour ces personnes démunies.

Collaboration avec le groupe qui partira pour l’Équateur en 2016.

Toutes les classes du primaire et du secondaire feront une collecte de 10 sous pour collaborer à la construction d’une maison pour une famille de COJIMIES en Équateur

« JEUNESSE DU MONDE »

 Is an organization to awake awareness among the youth on the problems that the world has to DEEL WITH.  The students are invited to make gestures of solidarity.  They are doing activities to help Africa and the House of Children at St-Rock. They also have meetings to understand the causes of poverty.

Committee GILLES KÈGLE

GILLES KÈGLE has been working in ST-ROCH for many years.  He visits and helps people in need.  Many volunteers work with him. The students do 30 meals a week for these people.

Collaboration with the group who will leave for Ecuador in 2016

All the students are collecting dimes to help with the construction of a house for a family of COJIMIES.

DESDE MUCHOS AÑOS, ESTE ENFERMERO VISITA Y AYUDA A LA GENTE DE ST-ROCH. MUCHOS VOLUNTARIOS TRABAJAN CON EL. LOS ALUMNOS DEL COLEGIO PREPARAN 30 COMIDAS POR SEMANA PARA ESTAS PERSONAS QUE NECESITAN.

COLABORACIÓN CON EL GRUPO QUE VA A IR A ECUADOR EN JULIO 2016

TODOS LOS GRUPOS DE PRIMARIA Y SECUNDARIA DEL COLEGIO ESTÁN HACIENDO UNA CAMPAÑA DE 10 CENTAVOS PARA LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE UNA CASA PARA UNA FAMILIA DE COJIMIES, ECUADOR.

ÉCOLE DE MUSIQUE, LÉVIS

Collaboration avec la Fondation du Dr. Julien.
Cette fondation a pour mission de permettre à chaque enfant de développer son plein potentiel.  Elle assure le développement de la pédiatrie sociale en communauté pour le bien-être du plus grand nombre d’enfants possible.  Le Dr Julien vise à influencer les manières de faire auprès des enfants vulnérables représentant environ 30% des enfants de la province.

Quelques jeunes de l’école de musique acceptent de donner gratuitement des cours de musique à des enfants de cette Fondation.

MUSIC SCHOOL LÉVIS

Collaboration with Dr. Julien’s Foundation. 

The mission of this foundation is to enable every child to develop his full potential.  It guarantees the development to be one of social pediatrics in community.  Dr. Julien’s goal is to find means of influencing the methods used with vulnerable children, that is, with 30% of the children of the Province.

Some students of the Music School have agreed to give music lessons to some of these children of the above Foundation.

ESTA FUNDACIÓN QUIERE AYUDAR A LOS NIÑOS VULNERABLES Y TIENE UNA PEDAGOGIA BASADA EN LA COMUNICACIÓN SOCIALE. MÁS DE 30% DE LOS NIÑOS DE LA PROVINCIA ESTÁN EN SITUACIÓN DE VULNERABILIDAD.

Semaine SOS Solidarité Syrie

Dans les classes, moment de silence le matin, suivi d’un geste que l’étudiant s’engageait à faire durant la journée pour se solidariser avec les gens de la Syrie.  Les élèves ont enregistré des vidéos dans lesquels ils exprimaient leur solidarité et envoyaient ces vidéos aux religieuses de Syrie.

Semaine Jésus-Marie

Chaque classe a reçu un pays ainsi qu’un gagnant du Prix Nobel de la Paix originaire de ce pays.  Comme cette semaine s’est tenue durant la semaine où le vrai Prix Nobel de la Paix fut attribué, ils ont décidé  de faire voter les élèves entre 6 candidatures. Le gagnant de l’école : Le Pape François

Témoignage d’une ex-réfugiée congolaise qui a maintenant sa citoyenneté canadienne.  Elle a rencontré les élèves pour les sensibiliser à cette dure réalité.

Sensibilisation à l’injustice faite aux enfants qui ne peuvent fréquenter l’école. Collaboration avec l’organisme UNICEF

Mise sur pieds d’un comité « Développement et Paix ». Rencontres de sensibilisation et préparation d’une journée pour toute l’école le 8 mars; journée internationale de la femme.

SOS Solidarity with the people of Syria

Before class, a moment of silence followed by an action that the students commit themselves to do during the day in solidarity with the people of Syria.  The students made short videos in which the expressed their solidarity and sent them to the sisters of Syria.

A special Jesus and Mary’s week

Each class received a name of a country and a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize of that country. As it was the week of the Nobel Peace Prize 2016, the whole school voted for a candidate among six persons given to them by the school.  The winner:  Pope Francis

Testimony of a refugee from the Republic of Congo, now a Canadian resident.  She explained to the students how difficult the refugee situation is.

To raise awareness among the students.  Situation of injustice.  Children who cannot go to school.  Work with the UNICEF organization.



  

Setting up a committee “Development and Peace”. That group is preparing an activity for the international Women’s Day.  They will work in collaboration with “Development and Peace” organisation.

CADA GRUPO DEL COLEGIO RECIBIÓ UN PAÍS Y EL NOMBRE DE UN GANADOR DEL PREMIO NOBEL DE LA PAZ DEL MISMO PAÍS. DURANTE LA MISMA SEMANA DE ESTA ACTIVIDAD SE NOMBRÓ EL PREMIO NOBEL DE LA PAZ 2016. HICIERON VOTAR A LOS ALUMNOS ENTRE 6 CANDIDATOS Y GANÓ EL PAPA FRANCISCO.

TESTIMONIO DE REFUGIADA DEL CONGO, AHORA CIUDADANA DE CANADÁ. SU TESTIMONIO AYUDÓ A LOS ALUMNOS A ENTENDER LA DIFÍCIL SITUACIÓN DE LOS REFUGIADOS.

LOS ALUMNOS SE ENTERAN DE LA INJUSTICIA QUE VIVEN MUCHOS NIÑOS EN EL MUNDO. COLABORACIÓN CON UNICEF

EL COLEGIO EMPEZÓ UN GRUPO « DÉVELOPPEMENT ET PAIX » (NOMBRE CANADIENSE DE CARITAS INTERNATIONALIS). ESTE GRUPO ESTÁ PREPARANDO UNA ACTIVIDAD PARA EL DÍA DE LA MUJER.
